The Kid's Win Fishing Tournament has become one of Port St. Joe's most anticipated events. Kids from all around come for a day of fun on the water and in the sun. The event exposes youngsters to the excitement of fishing in a fun and safe environment.

The event is open to children ages 3 through 16, with the registrants receiving a new rod & reel, tackle box, t-shirt, and goodie bag, so kids win just by entering. For 2009 registrations will be limited to the first 300 kids.

There will be first, second, and third place trophies awarded for 6 different fish species in two age divisions, the 'Small Fry' division (3-10 years old) and the 'Junior' division (11-16 years old). Participants can expect to catch Ladyfish, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Trout, Catfish, Flounder, and Pinfish. 		Last years turnout was outstanding with 536 kids participating; thanks to the support and donations of local individuals and businesses. In 2009, registration will be limited to the first 300 kids, so REGISTER EARLY!

The 2009 tournament will be held Friday, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th. We expect to be offering early registrations with Seahorse Water Safaris at the Port St. Joe Marina starting April 15th. The entry fee is $12/kid (cash or check only please).
